"Headlights, Struts, and Lycia — Action at Last"

tags: workshop-log, progress, electronics

This afternoon, for the first time, the StarSeer had power.

After months of structural work, delays, distractions, and flatlined energy, I managed to wire up the headlight and the warning beacon. They lit. They worked. There’s motion and progress at last.

Earlier in the day, I fitted the final struts to the roof structure — a job that had sat dormant for too long. With Lycia’s Estrella album playing in the background, I found a rhythm again.

I’ve realized how much this build is not just physical. It’s psychological. Seeing it sit idle chipped at me. But today, something clicked into motion.

Progress may be slow. But it’s real. And it’s mine.
